Description

Our Endorphins group sessions are safe spaces for Children and young people 8-25years old with SEND.

Children and young people may have SEND because of a diagnosed or undiagnosed medical condition or disability.

The children and young people we support are all unique. Some of the additional needs the young people we support have include:

Learning, knowledge and understanding - All learning may be difficult or they may have difficulties with specific activities such as reading, spelling, understanding and following instructions, completing tasks, and remembering.

Communication and social interactions - Talking to others, understanding what others are saying to them, difficulty with interactions with others including their peers, struggling to take turns in games, limited speech, assistance with communication such as PEC cards/Makaton.

Physical and sensory - including hearing or vision impairment, difficulties with sensory processing, a medical condition which affects them physically.

Social, emotional and mental health - low self-esteem, anxiety at any level, behaviors which require monitoring and management, underlying conditions which can affect their mental health.
